Hoosier Performance Engineering warrants its products manufactured by Hoosier Performance Engineering and sold as Hoosier Performance Engineering brand products for 1 year from date of purchase. Hoosier Performance Engineering, at its option will repair or replace these defective parts or offer a refund of the original purchase price. These remedies are the buyer’s sole and exclusive remedies. In no event will Hoosier Performance Engineering be liable for direct, incidental or consequential damages of any type that may result from a defective product.

Non Hoosier Performance Engineering Brand Products
Products manufactured by other companies and sold by Hoosier Performance Engineering exclusively or non-exclusively will carry only the manufacturers warranty if one exists. These remedies are the buyer’s sole and exclusive remedies. In no event will Hoosier Performance Engineering be liable for direct, incidental or consequential damages of any type that may result from a defective product.

Shipping & Delivery:

Shipping Policy: Hoosier Performance Engineering currently utilizes Fed-Ex ground for the majority of our shipping and as a result we are able to quote a standard price of $115.00 for most differentials that are shipped standard ground within the contiguous 48 states. Additional charges may be incurred for Express, shipping outside of the 48 states, and the request to use an alternate carrier. Unless previous arrangements have been made with Hoosier Performance Engineering at the time an order is placed, the customer will be responsible for any additional fees or expense.

All orders recevied after 3PM will be shipped following day (if item is stock).

Sales Tax:

Hoosier Performance Engineering charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on the applicable state sales tax rate and the location to which the order is being shipped. Indiana state tax is 7%.

Limited Warranty for reconditioned and/or assembled drivetrain components.

1.0 Hoosier Performance Engineering Written Warranty: Hoosier Performance Engineering, a DTEP. Inc. company warrants any reconditioned, rebuilt, or repaired drivetrain component to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the published time period of that individual component. The warranty will begin when a) the customer or customer’s agent receives the component from Hoosier Performance Engineering at the advised shipping address or b) the customer takes delivery of their vehicle from Hoosier Performance Engineering’s service department.

2.0 Exceptions To Our Limited Warranty: The following are exceptions to the period of coverage stated above;

2.1 Normal gear noise resulting from hypoid gear mesh will be warrantied for 30 days. This exception does not include differential “noise” generated by the differential.

2.2 Aftermarket components utilized by Hoosier Performance Engineering in the assembly or reconditioning of any driveline component, but not produced by Hoosier Performance Engineering will be covered under the Hoosier Performance Engineering’s warranty for the time period stated.

2.2.1 If the written warranty is greater in time and/or mileage than Hoosier Performance Engineering’s warranty it will not constitute an extension of Hoosier Performance Engineering’s Warranty.

2.2.2 If the stated aftermarket component fails outside of Hoosier Performance Engineering’s written warranty period that warranty will prevail. Any cost associated with that component failure including but not limited to, labor, towing fees, other parts, vehicle down time, will be the responsibility of the customer.

2.3 If the Hoosier Performance Engineering’s component is installed by a third party any failure, leakage, or performance concerns associated with the installation are the responsibility of the third party installer.

3.0 Conditions voiding this warranty.

3.1 When installed in a vehicle that is not registered for use on public highways in a vehicle that does not meet the minimum requirements to obtain a registration for operation on public highways.

3.2 Any failure that is the result of a shock load event or series of events.

3.3 Any failure that is the result of an overloaded condition or use in a non-approved application.

3.4 Premature failure that has resulted from one or more of the following conditions:

3.4.1 Overheating.

3.4.2 Use of an unapproved differential lubricant.

3.4.3 Inadequate or low lubricant levels.

3.4.4 Installation in any motor vehicle other than a Corvette (unless otherwise pre-approved by Hoosier Performance Engineering).

3.5 Any repairs performed by any unauthorized person or persons to any Hoosier Performance Engineering component while still in the warranty period.

4.0 Other.

4.1 Warranty coverage is not assumed until the drivetrain component has been received and inspected by Hoosier Performance Engineering or its affiliates.

4.2 The customer is responsible for any cost associated with removal, installation, shipping and receiving of any Hoosier Performance Engineering’s drivetrain components unless Hoosier Performance Engineering also acted as the installer.

4.3 Warranty coverage is limited to repair and/or replacement of the Hoosier Performance Engineering drivetrain component. This warranty does not cover vehicle towing, lodging, loss of use, or any other cost, property loss, injury, or death that is assumed related to any Hoosier Performance Engineering’s components, component parts, labor, officers, employees or affiliates.

Return Policy:

You may purchase merchandise from this Web site by using any one of the payment options listed in (link to Payment Options). Hoosier Performance Engineering reserves the right to change its payment procedures at any time without prior notice to you.

All orders of $800 or more require a 50% deposit at the time order is placed. The 50% deposit is applied to product and parts and not core deposits.
All cancellations are subject to a 25% restocking and labor charge plus shipping and handling if the cancellation occurs when a customer component has been received by Hoosier Performance Engineering for service and the customer desires the component be returned.
Core refunds are subject to the core return policy attached.
